Information Technology and Services (ITS) maintains an array of technologies that are designed to
connect students, faculty, and staff to their critical University information resources 24 hours a
day, seven days a week, regardless of where they are physically located.
The University online portal, MySlice, provides individualized access to
information resources in a secure Web-based environment, based on one's NetID and password. These
online information resources include:
Student services-online course catalogs, class registration, schedule adjustment,
advising information, and Bursar account information.
Faculty services-class rosters, teaching schedules, and student advising information.
Employee services-paycheck and withholding statements, direct deposit and vacation information,
and the ability to update personal information.
Administrative services-access to financial, student,
and human resources administrative systems, and access
to the Data Warehouse through MyReports.
Other online administrative information systems
ITS supports more than 20 administrative information systems on campus, including the FAST system, BSR, Job Net, ID-card services, the student housing reservation system, FAMIS, and SUDS (Syracuse University Directory System).
