Hyperion Repository

The Hyperion Repository provides data custodial offices with the ability to create, store and make available to administrative staff a variety of queries and reports. One of the benefits of a repository is that the people running the reports don't need direct access to the data warehouse views or the productional system. We also maintain usage statistics of every query stored in the repositories for internal purposes as well as feedback to the custodial offices. Access is controlled by assigning users to security groups. Queries are audited for correctness and efficiency. To become a repository user, you must request access. See the section on access for more information. It is highly recommended that a new user attend the Repository Overview training to become familiar with the MyReports environment.

Report and Query Requests

Your office may not have a resource to create Hyperion queries and reports that would be appropriate for distribution via the report repository. If you would like to inquire about the possibility of the Data Warehouse Group creating a report for your office to be included in the repository, you may use this form to indicate your specifications: Report Request Form. We will forward the information you provide to the appropriate data custodial area. They will coordinate and work with you on your request.

Report Standards

You may have the desire and skill to create Hyperion queries and reports that you would like to see included in the Hyperion repository.  Standards have been developed to ensure efficiency, ease of use, and uniformity of presentation.  All queries submitted for inclusion in the Hyperion repository must comply with these standards. Go to Repository Report Standards.
